We aim to supply food that is fresh, ripe, clean
                                                     safe and nourishing.
Our produce is herbicide and pesticide
                                                    free from quality seed.

We grow a large variety of vegetables in our garden and greenhouses and enjoy exploring new varieties to offer our customers.  We try to focus on heirloom varieties as often as we can, to help preserve seed for future generations.

We are Certified Naturally Grownhttp://www.naturallygrown.org  as we think that organic has lost some of its credibility due, in part, to imported fruit and vegetables from mega farms in California and China, however, we felt it important that our customers feel secure in what we produce.

What is certified Naturally Grown?  Certified Naturally Grown (CNG) offers an alternative to the certified Organic label.  Our program is based on the same organic practices, but CNG is different in several ways.

Internationally recognized:  CNG is one of the four models of "Participatory Guarantee System" (PGS) certification supported by the International Federation of Organic Agricultural Movements (IFOAM) and encouraged by the United Nationas FAO for tens of thousand of small farmers globally.

We use row covers extensively, not only to help retain moisture and protect from frost but also to help repel insects and disease.  Crop rotation is also used to reduce pests and disease.

We use our own compost and well rotted manure from our Highland cattle along with cover crops to enrich the soil.

Our Farm Shop is in the works and should be up and running during the summer of 2010.  Customers will then be able to buy directly from the farm during the week.  We will also have vegetables for sale on our on-line 'shop'.  Wait and watch for this golden opportunity.

On weekends we can we can be found at the Bulkley Valley Farmers Market.http://www.bvfarmersmarket.com
